Additional Property Attributes

The City has selected this property and the surrounding properties as the most suitable location for the site of two new middle schools that the city plans to construct to replace its outdated and overpopulated existing middle school. The schools are scheduled to open in January 2010.

Former Use: This property consists of undeveloped land formerly owned by the Rhode Island Department of Transportation and associated with the Hamlet Avenue and Florence Drive intersection. This property formerly included land on both sides of the intersection of Hamlet Avenue and Florence Drive. No buildings have been previously constructed at this property.
