Additional Property Attributes

The subject property, which encompasses about 0.16 acre, is at 428 N. Jefferson Avenue. The subject property is at the southeast corner of the intersection of N. Jefferson Avenue and E. Phelps Street. A one-story cinder block building occupies most of the subject property. The cinder block building at the site encompasses a footprint of approximately 3,750 ft2. It consists of a single above-grade story on a concrete slab (no basement). The property is owned by Jordan Valley Community Health Center (JVCHC), which purchased the property in January 2021. The building is currently used by JVHCH for storage of floor maintenance equipment. Historical information indicates the subject property was occupied by wholesale automotive and refrigerator parts facilities from approximately 1953 to 1992, a specialty air products business in 1995, and a refrigeration business in 2000. Prior to purchase by JVCHC, the building was reportedly only used for storage for several years. This property is part of $5 million project for Jordan Creek public gathering amenities. [2023-12-29 EPA PO AML new entry] Per the Phase I, Asbestos containing material is suspected simply due to age of construction. Phase II ACM inspection and sampling identified no ACM and since that was the only Contaminant of Concern, cleanup is NOT required, and the property is Ready for Anticipated Use.
