Additional Property Attributes

A community meeting will be held in the unoccupied space of the Drover�s Rest property Formerly French Broad Chevrolet in Marshall at 6 pm on Wednesday, August 12, 2009. The meeting will be hosted by Songbird Development Group, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources DENR Underground Storage Tank Section, Altamont Environmental and Land-of-Sky Regional Council. The purpose of the meeting is to inform the community of environmental soil and groundwater test results at the property. The Limited Site Assessment recommended no further action required for soil and groundwater. Test results will be shared in detail during the meeting.

Former Use: Owner was aware that the site was being utilized as an automobile dealership Carolina Chevrolet at the time of purchase. Owner was also aware that under- ground storage tanks UST�s had previously been removed from this site. No further action letter dated 9/3/2009 from NCDENR UST.
