Additional Property Attributes

Asboestos containing materials were discovered requiring abatement prior to building demolition. PCB ballasts were also discovered requiring disposal as a hazardous waste. Paint on the building was not found to contain lead at hazardous levels. This building went from a demolition project to a redevelopment project in late 2011. The building was cleaned up under another EPA Cooperative Agreement (RLF) and that information and those costs are addressed in a seperate entry under that Cooperative Agreement in December of 2012.

Former Use: This has been property of the Fort Peck Agency since 1877 BIA Building originally returned to the tribes used as a treatment center. Pre-demolition asbestos and lead-based paint inspection, PCD light ballasts.
