Additional Property Attributes

Site site has been commercially developed since the 1930s and used during much of that time as a lumber yard. RECs are both on and off-site. The City conducted the Phase I ESA as part of a larger cluster of properties (Cluster #15). A Phase II ESA would be recommended before initiating any re-use activities. The City has long-term plans to have the area redevelop with riverfront housing. The City will likely pursue sampling activities after a more concrete plan has been established.

Former Use: A review of historical information indicated the property contained residential development from 1897-1930 and commercial development from 1931 to the present. Past commercial usage includes a warehouse built in 1930 which stored lumber until 1994 and an automotive supply store from 1995 until its closure in 2014. The property currently contains a lumber storage shed with 8,064 square-feet of space. The parcel also has another warehouse built 1930 with 2,080 square-feet of space.
