Additional Property Attributes

This property is a proposed single-family residential rehabilitation project under the City of Springfields HOME Loan Program. In order to bring the property up to code and allow for rehabilitation into the single-family residential home, the owner has applied to the City for brownfields assessment funding prior to conducting redevelopment work. Redevelopment costs are estimated at 40,000 dollars. No recognized environmental conditions were identified for the site. Suspect asbestos containing materials ACMs observed at the site include sheet flooring. Sampling and analysis of this material would be necessary in order to determine the asbestos content of these items, if any redevelopment or demolition is to occur.

Former Use: The site contains an approximately 1,000 square foot building residence constructed in 1906 and an approximately 200 square foot detached garage built in 1950. Prior to 1906, the site was undeveloped land.
