Additional Property Attributes

The Gateway West Site is the second phase of the overall development for a revitalized downtown plan and will include two mixed-use commercial buildings and the Gateway Plaza, a public open space designed as a community gathering space and a connecting point between Downtown Neenah and the Arrowhead Park to the west. The CDA is actively marketing the redevelopment area and is in the early stages of negotiating an additional 6 million commercial project on Gateway West.

Former Use: The Glatfelter Mill Redevelopment Project-- Gateway West Site has historic uses including paper making, wastewater treatment, and railroad operations that extended over 130 years. The majority of the site was a papermill owned by P.H. Glatfelter Company. The mill closed in 2006 and in addition to eliminating 220 jobs, it's closure created a severely blighted area in a strategic business location at the gateway to downtown Neenah.
