Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: Property was initially developed in the late 1980's as a warehouse operated by the former Mary Leila Cotton Mill until the early 1970s when it was taken over by Wellington Leisure Products. The 1942 aerial photograph shows the baseball field in existance at that time. Fire insurance maps indicate a portion of the property was used as a cooling pond/reservoir for the Mary-Leila mill - connected to the mill property by a 10-inch underground pipe.
