Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: Between 1884 and 1899 it appeared a lumber company operated on the Property. As of 1908, the Property use transitioned to manufacturing. Various machining companies occupied the Property from 1908 to 2009. The manufacturing operations reportedly included l fabrication, welding, grinding, sandblasting, baking, relaxing, cutting, assemblage, testing, packaging, shipping, and chemical use and storage e.g., oil, gasoline, fuel oil. At the time of the 2009 reconnaissance, Hanchett Manufacturing occupied the Property and produced saw blades and various types of machinery. During the 2012 reconnaissance, the Property consisted of 4.8 acres of land developed with a manufacturing building, storage shed, and garage. Remaining portions of the Property were developed with gravel, brush, landscaped, and grass-covered areas. The Property was situated in an area zoned for industrial, residential, and commercial uses, and was surrounded by miscellaneous manufacturing businesses, retail establishments and residences.
