Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The site is owned by the city and consists of Tax Block 704, Lot 2, measuring 1.08 acres. The City operates the Site as the City�s Municipal Parking Lot No. 10. The site was first developed for residential use prior to 1886. Residential structures were identified at the site in historical Sanborn Fire Insurance Maps beginning in 1886. Parking facilities was first shown at a portion of the site in the 1950 map along with a used auto sales facility. The City of Plainfield Parking Authority Garage, currently located at the southwestern corner of the site, was shown developed along with the site-wide parking usage currently present at the site in 1982. The site has been owned by the sity or the City Parking Authority since 1975 and prior to that by a series of individuals and businesses.
