Additional Property Attributes

Due to changes in the United States auto industry, the automotive dealership at property was closing and would have resulted in a devastating loss to Tuscola County. The assessment at the property was able to assist in the transfer to a new owner. The project retained 15 jobs within Tuscola County and leverage approximately 1 million dollars in private investment.

Former Use: From the early 1940s until the 1960s, the subject property was occupied by seven structures and a driveway and was utilized for the production of row crops. In the 1970s, two of the residential structures were demolished. From the 1980s until the mid 1990s, two residential structures and a driveway occupied the subject property. In the late 1990s, Subject Buildings 1, 2, and 3 as well as paved parking areas and a retention pond were developed at the subject property. The subject property was occupied by Joseph Chevrolet from the late 1990s until December 2009 when McDonald Pontiac Cadillac GMC began leasing the subject property.
