Additional Property Attributes

Large undeveloped property in south Tampa. City leases the property from the State and planned development includes a City Park.

Former Use: Relatively undeveloped parcel with the exception of unimproved service roads, an abandoned railroad corridor bordering the northern and eastern sides of the site with a spur running down the center, and a drainage canal that was created around 1965. Both soil and groundwater contamination (arsenic, PAHs) is documented at the site, mainly in the areas of the former railroad and railspur.
