Additional Property Attributes

The subject property exist in a rural area that is primarily characterized by a mixture of undeveloped, vacant field/wooded land, farmland and residential property. The property serves as a juvenile detection rehabilitation facility. A Phase I ESA and asbestos survey was performed to identify the potential presence or release of hazardous substance or pertoleum on the property. Several potential REC were identified in connection with the property. The Phase I ESA recommended that a limited subsurface investigation be conducted to assess the areas where potential environmental contamination may have occurred due to the facility operations

Former Use: The subject property is owned by the State of Mississippi and contains approximately 50 buildings on site that include housing, classrooms, and ancillary facilities used educated juvenile students under court order detention/rehabilitation.
