Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: Site is presently vacant and consists of scattered overgrown vegetation and the remnants of former structures. From 1885 through 1970, the site was occupied by a series of companies that produced rods and reels, woodworking, and tools. From 1970 through 1982, the site was used to warehouse products for Mohawk Plastics. The structure was demolished around 1999. The conclusion of the Phase I recommended a Phase II to address identified recognized environmental conditions, such as lack of information about former on-site processess or building uses, former presence of an adjacent railroad, presence of fill from an unknown source, documented release with an unidentified source on an adjacent parcel.
