Additional Property Attributes

Site was a former gasoline and diesel tank farm. Site is planned for redevelopment into community services - health clinic, food bank and senior center, which have been interrupted due to flooding of the original host building in another part of town.

Former Use: Property in 1950s was part of local railroad operation that supported a large saw mill in Vernonia. Property is currently owned by Oregon Parks and Recreation Department, who acquired it to support Banks-Vernonia Linear trail.
