Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The Site consists of one 0.702-acre parcel located at 902 Boston Road in the City of Haverhill, Essex County, Massachusetts. The Site is located in a commercial area surrounded by Cedarland Fun Center and DiBurros Function Facility to the west. There are residential properties to the south in an upgradient direction. The Site is located approximately a 1/2 mile from the northeasterly flowing Merrimack River. A small stream also flows north across the rear of the property. Based on NEETs Phase I ESA the Site was as an auto body shop from 1952 to approximately 2002, a cleaners and dyer from 1942 to 1946, a woodcraft company in 1941, a plant nursery between 1926 and 1946 and a garage from 1921 to 1936. Conformation of these dates and information could not be verified due to the closure of the Special Collections department at the Haverhill Public Library until late May of 2010. The building has been vacant since approximately 2002. According to Mr. Filomeno a significant amount of debris has been gradually removed from the Site and the ground are moderately maintained.
