Additional Property Attributes

The subject property has been a vacant lot since the mid 1990's. The site was utilized as a residence from at least 1953, until the early 1990's. No structures existed on the subject property during EWI's visual inspection therefore, no ACMs were present on-site. No RECs were identified for the subject property during this assessment. The adjoining property to the south has been utilized as railroad tracks since at least the 1950's until the late 1990's. It is possible that leaks or spills from railcars and/or engines have occurred during that time however, these were likly confined to the area of the tracks. Based on the length of time the tracks have been present, they pose an environmental concern to the site but do not represent a REC. Based on the findings and opinion of this Phase I, no Phase II was recommended. Habitat for Humanity will develop 6 single family units on the property.

Former Use: The subject property is a 1.62-acre, vacant, grass-covered lot with two vegetation covered piles of soil located on the west portion. The subject property has been a vacant lot since the mid 1990's. The Site was utilized as a residence from at least 1953, until the early 1990's. Several different structures existed on the subject property within this time . Adjoining properties to the north consist of residences and Chestnut Street. The adjoining properties to the east and west are also residential. The adjoining property to the south is a former railroad track and a grass-covered field.
