Additional Property Attributes

Phase I ESA identified underground tanks associated with former dry cleaning operations. Phase II has not been performed as property likely headed to tax sale. City will market opportunity for further assistance with assessemnt and cleanup to successful bidder at tax sale. If current owner satisfies tax liabilities, City will support that owner with sale/reuse of the site, as applicable.

Former Use: The property was developed and operated as a dry cleaning facility beginning circa 1966. The dry cleaning operation has been ceased for some time and the property had been leased for other commerical operations. The property has been offered to sale but without success due to concerns over potential environmental issues. The property is located in close proximity to an old shopping center that is a target for reinvestment in the Neighborhood Plan prepared for the area.
