Additional Property Attributes

Property is former industrial lumber and fuel company along Turtle Creek, which is near the confluence of the Rock River. Planned land use is to redevelop as a park area and assist in flood control as part of Rock River Parkway Master Plan. Phase II activities include: QAPP, enrollment into Site Remediation Program, Sampling and Analysis Plan, initial site investigation, and Comprehensive Site Investigation. Supplemental Activities include: a supplemental site investigation, Remediation Obj-ectives Report, tier 2 soil and groundwater modeling with surface water receptor evaluation, SRP fees, sampling plan. Cleanup Planning activities include: Remedial Action Plan and discussions with City and IEPA. The CSIR, ROR and RAP were approved by Illinois EPA on February 23, 2012.
