Additional Property Attributes

The Pilot reported that with only a third of the mill redeveloped, there are now more than 1200 jobs at the Bates Mill Complex. The City of Lewiston has entered into an exit strategy with a private developer for the remaining municipally-owned buildings, with the exception of Mill #5. In May 2004, one of the Bates Mill's will be the location of the Governor of Maine's Conference, "The Creative Economy." The Maine DEP VRAP Certificate of Completion was finalized and registered with the Androscoggin County Registry of Deeds. QR 21, 1/1/04-3/31/04
