Planned reuse of the State Dairy Farm property is for a multi-municipal solid waste recycling center. PPF-State Dairy Farm, 12/27/07 Expansion of teh solid waste recycling center is needed. Remediation/ demolition bid documents are being drafted using local funding through LVEDC. Cleanup work will be paid for with a loan from Northampton County.

Former Use: The Pennsylvania state-owned dairy was constructed on the property in the 1930s and operated until 1984. The property was used primarily for agricultural purposes e.g. leased to farmers. PPF � State Dairy Farm, 12/27/07 Old buildings on the site contain ACM and lead paint.
