Additional Property Attributes

One of the 27 detected COCs, only TPH C6-C12 exceeded the BUSTR Closure Levels for Class I (sandy) soils at one sample . It should be noted that the sandy soils where the sample was collected was underlain and surrounded by finer grained silts and clays. In addition, the sample was collected at a depth of 8.0-9.5 feet below ground surface. None of the other detected COCs exceeded residential, or construction/excavation direct contact standards

Former Use: The Property is divided by Summit Street and includes the north portionnorthern side of Summit Street and the south portion southern side of Summit Street. Previously,uses of this building include a hotel and a restaurant. First floor occupants have also included a liquor store, grocery store, and print shop. Most recently, The American Maritime Officers used the building as a dormitory from the 1970s to 2003. The southern portion of the Property has been developed with a filling station, cooper, foundry, machine shop, brush company, wood storage yard and contractor supply storage yard from at least 1888 until the mid 1970s.
