Additional Property Attributes

Asbestos Survey was conducted in October 2013 and several samples were identified asbestos containing material. Vandals have trespassed into the hospital several times in an attempt to salvage metal which in turn has disturbed the ACM.

Former Use: The Property, which is comprised of approximately seven acres, is located along the north side of Summit Street in downtown Toledo, Ohio 43604. The City of Toledo Public School TPS District obtained the property from Mercy Hospitals in 2004. Mercy Hospital used the Property as Riverside Hospital until 2002. Prior to being a hospital, the Property was historically used as a lumberyard, mission, and nursing school.
