Additional Property Attributes

The Burned Generator Building site is located on the west side of C Street, just north of the post office. The generator building was built in the early 1990s and burned in 2007. There was at least one fuel tank a day tank associated with the generator building. During this investigation, four hand-augered soil borings were advanced in the tank farm area and thirteen hand-augered soil borings were advanced at the Burned Generator Building site. Abandoned drums, transformers and above ground storage tanks were noted during the investigation as potential source areas. The consultant estimates approximately 334 cubic yards of impacted soil remains in this area. Confirmation soil samples collected at the site, indicate levels of diesel range organics up to 30,100 mg/kg and gasoline range organics at 10,100 mg/kg at 7 feet below ground surface. PAHs and VOCs were also detected at elevated levels at the site.

Former Use: The Beaver Joint Utilities tank farm and generator building burned down in 2007 were constructed in the early 1990s and were originally operated by the Beaver Tribe. The tank farm consists of three horizontal aboveground storage tanks with a total fuel storage capacity of approximately 30,000 gallons. The tank farm is in a lined and bermed secondary containment area. The tank farm facility is still owned by the Beaver Tribe.
