Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The subject property consists of one 1 parcel containing 0.67 acres, and located on the southwest corner of the intersection of Walton and Opdyke Roads in Auburn Hills, Michigan. The subject property contains a 2,610 square foot convenience store building located in the northeastern portion of the property. The building was originally constructed in 1949, with additions and/or renovations in 1977, 1981, and 1990. The remainder of the property contains asphalt paved areas to the south and west, and landscaped areas are located to the west and northwest of the subject building. Current occupants consist of convenience store operations. Original development of the subject property occurred in approximately 1949 with the construction of a building in the northeastern portion of the property, identified as 2485 North Opdyke Road. Prior to 1949, the property contained vacant and/or agricultural land since at least 1937. Additions and/or renovations were constructed to the building in 1977, 1981, and 1990. Historical records document the former occupants of the 2485 North Opdyke building consisted of unknown operations from 1949 to 1956, a welding shop in 1956, an automotive service garage in 1961, and various corner-store market operations from 1957 to present, and one-pump gasoline dispensing operations prior to 1974. The western building, formerly identified as 2248 Walton Road, was constructed between 1957 and 1963 and demolished in 2007. Former occupants consisted of various automotive service and collision operations from at least 1963 to 1974, and restaurants and food warehouses from at least 1974 to 1999.
