Additional Property Attributes

The Subject Property consists of one two-story restaurant building with a basement, kitchen, food preparation and storage area, dining room, and bar. The restaurant has opertated since 1934, but it has been abandoned for approximately 10 years. The property is assumed to contain asbestos, but the building has deteriorated due to holes in the roof to the point where sampling for asbestos was unsafe. Mold is also present throughout the building.

Former Use: The Subject Property consists of one two-story restaurant building with a basement, kitchen, food preparation and storage area, dining room, and bar. The restaurant has opertated since 1934, but it has been abandoned for approximately 10 years. A small two-story building adjoins the restaurant along the western edge of the Subject Property. The building was originally constructed for use as a party center by Thomas R. Woodley and Harry T. Watkins Red & Tom�s. Red & Tom�s, which occupied the property at that time, never finished the party center, but used the building for storage and as an office for the bar/restaurant. The exterior area of the Subject Property is primarily an asphalt parking lot surrounding the building. The property has had various owners throughout its operation as a restaurant. In 1971, Joann MacWilliams purchased the property from Guraly�s Restaurant. In 1980, Harry Jones and Helen Jones purchased the restaurant. The proeprty was sold three times between 1984 and 1993, with Harry Jones and Helen Jones resuming ownership in 1993. In 1999, the childern of Harry and Helen Jones took ownership of the property under the company name Three Sisters, Inc. Three Sisters, Inc. breifly operated the restaurant but it quickly closed and has not operated since it closed approximately 10 years ago.
