Property Highlights

Former Use: The site contains two abandoned buildings: the former high school building and the former cafeteria building. The property was the site of a public high school from 1920 to 1958 and then a junior high school until the mid-1970's. In January 1979, the property was purchased by Charles Puckett, deceased husband of the current owner, and Larry Johnson from the Board of Education of the County of Fayette, West Virginia in January 1979. The property was then used as a storage facility for personal property items and furniture from a drug store.
