Additional Property Attributes

The cleanup activities are largely complete with the exception of ongoing ground water testing. The Menomonee Valley Business Park has one operating tenant, Palermos Pizza, which employs 300; and several other businesses are in the process of acquiring land for light industrial use.

Former Use: Source of former Milwaukee Road Shops - once the third largest rail car manufacturer and repair shop in the nation and Milwaukee's largest employer. Property is currently vacant and being prepared for redevelopment. So far seven companies have built facilities there and three sites remain.
