Property Highlights

The assessment is on a portion of the property where a former municipal landfill was once located. The site is in an area where re-alingment of a runway is planned. Thus, it will be necessary to remove the landfilled debris. Assessment will leverage cleanup dollars and FAA/Michigan DOT funds for construction. Redevelopment and cleanup planned to start in 2012.

Former Use: Property was farmland before being developed for an airport. A portion of the site was used as a municipal landfill.
