Additional Property Attributes

No direct jobs have been created. Some secondary construction jobs were temporarily created in conjunction with the rehabilitation of the historic building.

Former Use: The site is the remnant of a larger 268-acre cattle farm first developed in the 1880s. Much of the property has been sold over the years however, the original cattle barns and approximately three acres remain. The cattle barns are constructed of stone and brick, and are of historic value given their age and architecture. Historically, these barns have been referred to as "Stone Village." The barns have had several uses over the years including industrial use as a wire manufacturer. Currently, the barns are not in use and are in poor dilapidated condition. The area around the barns has been developed into residential use, and as such, the future use of the property is proposed to be residential. The developer intends to preserve the unique and historic nature of the barns and convert them to residential condominiums.
