Additional Property Attributes

Based on a Phase I ESA completed in October 2010 per ASTM 1527-05, RECs have been identified based on the site's historical land use, which included a railroad spur likely associated with adjacent phosphate land mining activity. A Phase II ESA completed in July 2011 revealed no impacts above regulatory criteria related to the identified RECs. As such, no additional assessment was recommended to address the identified RECs. Groundbreaking is scheduled to begin at the end of 2013 after Central Florida Health Care was awarded $775,000 in Affordable Health Care funds to begin development. This funding is combined with an initial $500,000 in school-based health funding awarded to the City of Mulberry, along with $80,000 in Health Care Planning Grant.

Former Use: The site was likely owned/utilized by a phosphate mining company, based on historical documentation suggesting a railroad spur within the boundaries of the site and proximity to documented phosphate mines located on adjacent properties.
