Additional Property Attributes

The subject property consists of one rectangular shaped parcel of land totaling approximatly 0.184 acres and recorded as Parcel ID number 0821-08-87-5827 by the Durham County Tax Assessor's Office. The parcel is currently zoned as DC-C Downtown Design -Core by the Durham City County Planning Department.The site is located in the southwest portion of Durham, North Carolina in a generally commercial setting.

Former Use: The on-site commercial building is divided into seven units 102, 104, and 106 Morris Street and 101/103, 105, 107, and East Chapel Hill Street. At the time of the site inspection, four of the seven units were vacant, including the upper level of the facility. The remaining three units are occupied by Scott Customs Tailors, Excelsior Barber Shop and Crayons 2 Calculators, a non-profit organization dedicated to supplying students with study materials. The on-site building has been used for commercial purposes since its construction in the early 1900's.
