Additional Property Attributes

The subject site consists of two parcels of land totaling approximately 0.943 acres and recorded as Parcel ID numbers 0831-17-20-3423 Tract 1 and 0831-17-20-4510 Tract 2 by the Durham County Tax Assessor's Office. Tract 1 of the subject site consists of one irregularly shaped parcel of land totaling approximately 0.805 acres. According to the Durham City-County Planning Department, the northern portion of Tract 1 is zoned as RU-5 Residential Urban and the southern portion is zoned as CN Commercial Neighborhood. Tract 2 of the subject site consists of one rectangular shaped parcel of land totaling approximately 0.138 acres and the parcel is zoned as RU-5 Residential Urban by the Durham City County Planning Department.

Former Use: The subject property is improved with one two-story approximately 1,200 square foot building constructed in 1969. The subject site is accessed from the east by Ridgeway Avenue and additional improvements included a paved asphalt parking area on the southeast portion of the site. The site and its surrounding properties are provided with water and sewer service from the City of Durham Public Works Dept. and electricity from Duke Power. The facility has been vacant since 2009 and is not currently equipped with heating or air conditioning.
