Additional Property Attributes

An agribusiness company has a purchase agreement with the owner to use the site for its business operations. A Phase I Environmental Assessment was completed in April 2010. Recognized environmental conditions included potential contamination from the facility's aboveground storage tanks, pump islands, and interior hydraulic lifts. Asbestos-containing materials ACM and lead-based paint LBP are also suspected to be present inside the building. A Phase II ESA is recommended.

Former Use: "This site is a former gas station and truck repair business, is approximately 1.84 acres in size and is currently vacant. Site buildings, including a car wash, and aboveground storage tanks and hydraulic lifts are still present on the property. The Johnson County Economic Development Corporation has applied on behalf of the owner, F & C Bank who acquired the property through foreclosure to have the property assessed for potential contamination.
