Additional Property Attributes

Recognized Environmental Conditons on the site RECs include a heating oil underground storage tank UST and a cistern with unknown contents. Additionally, it appears from the results of ground penetrating radar that the UST is likely still there. Due to the age of the building potential asbestos containing material and lead-based paint may be present. Asbestos and lead-based paint inspections should be conducted prior to redevelopment or use of the property. A Phase II Environmental Site Assessment should be conducted to determine whether or not RECS associated with the site pose a risk.Site investigations revealed a former heating oil UST is likely still in place. However, no soil or groundwater contamination was detected as a result. ACM and LBP were confirmed to exist in the building.

Former Use: "This 5.43 acre site has been used as a school since 1965. During a Phase I ESA the following RECs were discovered:a heating oil underground storage tank UST and a cistern with unknown contents. Additionally, it appears from the results of ground penetrating radar that the UST is likely still there. Due to the age of the building potential asbestos containing material and lead-based paint may be present. Asbestos and lead-based paint inspections should be conducted prior to redevelopment or use of the property."
