Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The subject property was orginally developed as a gravel pit in at least 1938. Operations were limited to the eastern half of the subject property with the remaining western half consisting of undeveloped, vegetated land until 1970s or 1980s when operations were expanded across the entire subject property. A small office was constructed near the southeastern corner of the subject property in approximately 1965 and remained on-site until the mid-1990s when it was razed. Gravel pit operations on the western half of the property were abandoned prior to 1990 when the existing rows of pine trees were planted. Mr. Roy Myers purchasedthe subject property in 1992 and operated a gravel pit on site until approximately 1995 when operations were abandoned. Mr. Myers graded the subject property with existing soild on-site and has utilized the property for storage of miscellaneous semi trucks, trailers, heavy equipment and other machinery. The subject property is currently zoned commercial and is utilized by Myers Truck Sales for storage of various semi trucks, trailers, heavy equipment and other miscellaneous parts and machinery. In addition, several rows of planted pine trees are present on the western and northern portions of the subject property.
