Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The Block 4B property is occupied by a few buildings that contain landscaping equipment, a fire suppression pump house, fire department and maintenance activities, and guard shack. A large electrical substation, a cistern that is part of the fire supression system, and miscellaneous equipment and landscaping storage areas are also located on the property. Previously, the property contained various additional buildings and a performance test track dating back to prior to 1929. The entire property was previously owned by the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. A portion of the property was also owned by Robinson Clay Products prior to being acquired by Goodyear. The Phase I assessment was done to faciltate the transfer of the property from Goodyear to IRG, Inc.
