Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The Property was occupied by a farmers market by the 1840s. By 1845, the Property was developed with one building that was occupied by a telegraph office and classrooms. Between 1853 and 1856, a newspaper also operated on the Property. In 1869, the current building was constructed on the Property. The building was occupied by stores and a newspaper until 1885, when the newspaper moved to another location in Marshall. The building was occupied by various stores dry goods, grocer, tailor shop, shoe store, and clothing store and professional offices from 1885 until the late 1980s. By 1992, the building had been renovated for use as an antique center. The building was occupied by various antique stores and galleries from 1992 until 2010.
