Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The Property was developed with industrial, commercial, and residential buildings, and three railroad spurs by 1887. The railroad spurs were removed from the Property by 1992. Between 1887 and 1998, the industrial and commercial buildings on the Property were occupied by various manufacturing operations nail and clamp sash, door, and blinds broom sheet metal and machine works radiators pharmaceuticals, industrial operations lumber and coal yard, planning mill, industrial and steam laundry, printers, vulcanizer, dye works, automotive repair operations, gasoline filling stations, commercial dry cleaners, and a mortuary Hebbles Funeral Service. Between 1989 and 1992, two USTs associated with the former H.B. Sherman portion of the Property eastern portion and seven USTs associated with the former Hebbles Funeral Home portion of the Property western portion were removed. In 1998, the remaining buildings on the Property were razed and the current commercial building was constructed. The building was occupied by Kellogg�s Cereal City USA interactive museum until 2007, when the museum was closed, and the building was vacated. The building was still vacant in 2011.
