Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The site is located just east of the Harrisburg City limits. From approximately 1903 to 1991, the property was leased to coal mining companies for the purpose of mining and mining support operations. The site has been inactive since 1993. Several buildings were formerly present on site however, only three dilapidated structures still remain. Access to the property is restricted on three sides. The majority of the site is overgrown with vegetation. The property is privately owned and all leases on the property have expired. The City of Harrisburg is interested in redevelpment of the property.
