Additional Property Attributes

Based on a Phase I ESA completed in January 2011 per ASTM E1527-05, RECs have been identified based on the site's history apparent impact by mining activity and on-site debris of unknown origin. In addition, an indoor air quality screening is recommended based on potential for microbial growth. A Phase 2 ESA completed in 2011 included soil and groundwater testing for VOCs, PAHs, metals, pesticides, PCBs and radiochemistry in shallow groundwater. No contaminant levels were encountered above State regulatory cleanup criteria, with the exception of gross alpha radiation and radium in shallow groundwater. Additional screening of the on-site structure indoor radon due to the proximity of impacted groundwater to the structure has been recommended. In addition, further investigation has been recommended for shallow buried debris, as well as source removal and cleaning to address indoor air quality issues fungal spores.

Former Use: A portion of the site is developed with the City of Mulberry Community Services Center, while the remaining larger portion of the site is undeveloped/vacant.
