Additional Property Attributes

Property was formerly used as a gas station. The property was purchased from the County due to back taxes. Leaking underground storage tanks were removed through the Illinois Environnmental Protection Agency Leaking Underground Storage Tank program. A No Further Remediation letter was received on September 7, 2021. The property was sold to a local business/landlord who made several improvements. The building is nearly complete. The owner is looking to occupy the space as retail/commercial. It was remodeled with the ability to split the interior so that two business could occupy the building. Overall, the project has been a success story. The gas canopy was removed, and the parking lot was concreted.
