Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The Property is currently vacant. There is one building with an attached garage located on the Property that use to operate as a boiler making facility from 1878 to 2006. Equipment and other miscellaneous s are stored in the building and garage. The area west of the building is a grass covered fenced yard which consist of trees, overgrown plants, a car and a 55 gallon drum. The Property south of the building and fenced yard consists of a paved alley and a vacant grass covered area. The alley used to be a rail line. According to Fire Insurance maps, the Property�s past operations included a boiler shop, a blacksmith shop, a flange shop, machine shop, the storage of coal products, a sheet metal and steel iron warehouse and railroad tracks from 1883 to 1954. The review of aerial photographs identifies the past operations of the Property to be industrial land from 1939 to 2008. The current owner was identified as Shirley J. Vanes, who acquired the Property from William U. Vanes in 2008.
