Additional Property Attributes

Property Assessment expenditures are estimated as 1/3 of the totals for 3 parcels originally funded together. This applies to Assessment Phase I and Phase II. Cleanup Planning estimated at half the cost of two properties planned together. Property Cleanup estimated at 2/3 of the total for the 3 parcels, due to removal of 2 petroleum USTs. Status on 12/6/2011: 1 of 2 tanks has NFA status. To address piping system for second tank, building was demolished to provide safe access to piping and pump room, which were removed. Awaiting soil testing results to determine closure status.

Former Use: Property Description - The Property is located approximately 900 feet south of Sandusky Bay. Adjacent properties include those with residential and commercial land uses as well as vacant lots. The Property was used for residences, an automotive filling station, and an automotive maintenance and repair facility. The parcel currently includes one vacant, unused garage building that has paved parking areas on the north and west sides. About half of the parcel is covered by the building or asphalt/concrete pavement.
