This property is the site for an intended boat ramp near Tutty's Crossing in the City of Freeport.

Former Use: The City of Freeport utilized Illinois EPA's OSE to collect subsurface data with their Geoprobe in order to determine if subsurface soil was contamianted with lead batteries from the Burgess Battery Site. The information gathered would assist the city in determining if any remediation needs to take place before the excavation and placement of the boat ramp into the Pecatonica River.
