Additional Property Attributes

The SITE consists of ten (10) contiguous parcels, of which eight parcels are vacant land parcels and two parcels are vacant residential single family houses. All portions of the SITE will be used for the senior housing project. The historical business activities on the SITE were either vacant land or residence. The general vicinity of the SITE primarily consists of commercial and residential properties. Phase 1 and limited soil sampling assessment has revealed no evidence of significant recognized environmental conditions in connection with the SITE except for some minor concerns.

Former Use: A Phase I Environmental Assessment Report, was conducted on the vacant parcels on August 19, 2005. The report concluded, "there appears to be a low potential for environmental impact to the property from historical site usage." The Phase I report did not address the adjacent sites and a TSI was conducted on these parcels, which are being considered for redevelopment. It is proposed to build between 160 to 260 units, subject to approvals, of low income senior housing on the currently vacant 2.6 acre site at E. 6th Street.
