"BTA conducted for the City of Hiawatha to evaluate a property currently being utilized as an implement dealership. The City intends to purchase the property for reuse as a consolidated public works facility. Based on information collected during the Phase I report, it appears that the All Appropriate Inquiry AAI was obtained. Recognized Environmental Conditions RECs were idtenified as: potential petroleum and hazardous substances associated with an oil/water separator, used oil AST storage area and burning, stained soil, historical operations, and an upgradient RCRA facility. Phase II activities indicated a release of petroleum products. The current owner is being encouraged to enter the VCP. "

Former Use: Developed in 1973 and operated since as an implement sales and maintenance facility.
