Additional Property Attributes

All project activities were completed on the subject property, and the Baseline Environmental Assessment was disclosed to the MDEQ. Unfortunately, the developer did not acquire the property and the anticipated development will not move forward.

Former Use: The subject property is located between 2401 and 2445 Brooklyn Road in Jackson, Michigan. It is undeveloped with a gravel drive crossing the north portion of the subject property and a crushed asphalt drive traversing the property from north to south. A small portion of the northeast corner is sparsely wooded and brushy. The subject property was vacant land until the 1980s when fill material from various sources was deposited on the site. During test pits conducted by the prospective owner during the site inspection, fill material was observed that included inert i.e. concrete, brick, asphalt and non-inert i.e. square metal rebar and assorted small metal pieces.
