Additional Property Attributes

A 5.7M renovation is planned for this site to historically restore and transform the sanctuary and Parish House into living and vibrant space for the performing arts, social services and a place of worship by a non-profit corporation, St. James Place.

Former Use: Site consists of one approximate 1.51-acre property identified as St. James Church located at 352 Main Street in the Town of Great Barrington, Berkshire County, Massachusetts. The property is developed with a stone church building with an attached bell tower (i.e., Sanctuary Building) constructed in 1857, as well as a two-story building addition (i.e., Parish House constructed in 1911). An asphalt-paved driveway runs along the north side of the church building. A gravel parking area is located in the northwestern portion of the Site, and grassy landscaped areas occupy the western and southern portions of the Site.
