Additional Property Attributes

No visual impact of contamination as a result of chemicals was observed. Historical uses of the property do not suggest that chemicals were used or stored at the property (other than household chemicals). Based on the age of the building, asbestos-containing material (ACM) and lead-based paint (LBP) are expected to be present. The property owner, Mr. Harvey Grossman, believes that the east wall of the building contains ACM. Due to degraded condition of building, demolition is recommneded.

Former Use: the property consists of 7,250 sqft of commercial land and 7,189 sqft of improvements (building and balcony). The facility operated from 1927 to 1964 as a film theater, and from 1984 to 1993 as a residential shelter (Truth Rescue Mission)
